Navalny refused to issue a passport
The Federal Migration Service refused to issue a passport to opposition member Alexei Navalny because he didn’t have a suspended sentence. In this regard, Navalny will definitely not get to the trial of hacker Hull, who will start on June 24 in German Bonn. According to the opposition, he will be fined one thousand euros for failure to appear on the agenda.
He decided to sue the FMS, which, in his opinion, wrongfully decided not to issue a passport. The law states that citizens with a suspended sentence may not be issued a passport.
“From which it clearly follows that this is still an exception, not a rule, and there must be some reason. There is evidence that the departure of this person to the beach in Turkey will prevent him from correcting during probation, then someone who is interested in the person in Turkey is not there, writes a justification, and the FMS uses its ability to temporarily limit it. An unmotivated refusal does not satisfy me at all, ”says Navalny.
