Young talents of Russia are splitting up an American startup

The fact that the robot, which the “talented Russian youth” presented to the Russian president Putin in the Klyazma camp, is made of plywood is half the battle. Much worse, as this "ingenious" development turned out to be plagiarism and intellectual theft.

The day before yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited a youth camp on Klyazma to communicate with talented Russian youth. During the event, the Russian president was presented with the offspring of young Russian "Newtons" - made of plywood robot. The only thing that a robot can do is turn its head and clap its eyes.

It would seem, well, what's so special - someone in the twenty-first century conquers Pluto, and someone makes robots out of plywood. But today it turned out a small piquant detail - it turned out that even this plywood home-made product was simply stolen by the Russian “young talents” by splitting one of the projects laid out on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform.

The American startup project XYZbot from Denver, Colorado is called Fritz - and the Russian “achievement” is an exact replica of it.
