Estonian calves migrated to Russia without permission
In Estonia, a herd of 15 calves from one of the farms in the south-east of the country moved to Russia across the border.
According to the owner of the animals, Rein Kooser, the border guards of the two countries were notified about the incident. “I have friends among Russian hunters - I also told them that the calves were missing. I say: “If you’re lucky and meet them, send them to Estonia!” Koozer added.
As a result, the calves managed to return to the farm, and the details are not specified. As noted, the total value of animals is estimated at ten thousand dollars.
A similar incident occurred in July 2014, when 172 cows from Ukraine moved to Russian territory. One of the animals was found at a distance of a kilometer from the state border with Russia. It, according to the owner of the farm, repulsed from the herd. The fact that the cows went exactly to Russia, the policemen set on the trail on the ground.
