Former illegal immigrants dismissed from the Trump Golf Club were invited to an annual appeal to the nation

A former illegal immigrant who has worked as a maid at the Donald Trump Golf Club in Bedminster for three years will visit the President’s annual address to the nation. Earlier, another ex-employee of the golf club was invited to the performance. Both women were invited by the Democrats.

Rep. Jimmy Gomez invited Sandra Diaz, who was an employee of Trump between 2010 and 2013 for years, writes Fox32. The invitation came a few days after a New Jersey Democrat also invited an illegal immigrant who had worked for five years at the President’s golf club and who was subsequently dismissed.

“It is no small feat for a Costa Rican migrant to stand up to a bully and a hypocrite in the White House,” Gomez said in a statement. “She is living proof that President Trump could not be more wrong—both morally and factually—to demonize those who come to America in search of a better life.”

After retiring from work at a golf club, Diaz became the legal resident of the United States. Last year, she talked about her experience at Trump and claims that she took care of Trump’s personal residence and even occasionally talked with him.

The woman told the New York Times that her leaders knew that she was in the country illegally, and forced her to do certain types of work that she did not want to do. She also insulted the worker verbally and physically and threatened with deportation.

“Apparently, the Trump Organization had no problem hiring undocumented immigrants like Sandra to polish their golf clubs, serve drinks, and make their beds. However, treating these hardworking people with dignity was clearly too difficult,” Gomez added in his statement.
