Less than a day after Beryl intensified before a tropical storm, he became the first hurricane of the season in 2018.
According to the National Hurricane Center, wind gusts reach 75 miles per hour (120 km / h). Hurricane assigned the first category. It travels at a speed of 15 miles per hour (24 km / h) southeast of the Lesser Antilles.
It is expected that Beryl will intensify the next day, but, according to the long-term forecast, will begin to weaken by Sunday and next week.
As a result, rains with winds are expected in the Lesser Antilles, but on Friday morning there were no warnings.
