Russian film week effectively ended in Miami

The second in history Russian Film Week in Miami (2018 Russian Film Week in Miami), organized by Russian Movies Miami, officially ended on October 4.

More than 20 Russian films and cartoons in a week looked around 4000 viewers in the state of Florida. Most of the pictures were presented to the audience for the first time in the USA, and some of the new products, such as Unforgiven, Temporary Difficulties, Happiness! Health! ”,“ Elephants know how to play football ”,“ On the District ”, was released in the states almost simultaneously with the Russian prime ministers.

Many viewers noted the opening film of the Unforgiven Week for the persuasiveness of Dmitry Nagiyev as a dramatic actor. He also closed the Film Week on the same day as the premiere in Russia, Olga Zueva’s film “On the District”, which was also warmly received by the audience.

We thank everyone who took the time to come to the cinema during this marathon of more than 20 films. Many - not once or even twice, but much more. With wives and husbands, brothers and sisters, parents, children and friends. There were even those who didn't miss a single session! All spectators, not only representatives of the Russian-speaking community of South Florida (since almost all films were broadcast with English subtitles), created a wonderful atmosphere - they shared their impressions of the screenings, applauded, laughed and sometimes cried. The shows were held in two cinemas: O Cinema Miami Beach and Cinema Paradiso Fort Lauderdale.
