Monument to Stalin installed in Russia
In the village of Kuybyshevo, Rostov Region, a monument was erected to a Soviet dictator, Joseph Stalin.
The bust was not made on purpose - during agricultural work it was discovered in one of the rural wells, reports Medusa.
The head of the search association "Mius-Front" Andrei Kudryakov said that during World War II, in 1941, during the retreat, Soviet soldiers hid the monument from the Nazis, and it was only now possible to find it.
According to him, the restoration of the monument lasted more than a year.
In the administration of the Kuibyshev district reported that the installation of the bust is not financed from the budget: the money raised by the Communists and veterans of the Second World War.
The opening of the bust is timed to the 137 anniversary of the birth of Stalin (December 21).
