Conservatives criticize permission of same-sex marriage in the US

The US Supreme Court 26 June made the fateful decision that now throughout the US gay marriage allowed. Millions of Americans rejoice at this, but there are those for whom this news was a shock.

President Barack Obama supported this decision of the court, calling it a victory for the United States. But representatives of the conservatives are very outraged, saying that such a decision has changed the very concept of marriage and family.

Tony Perkins, who heads the Family Research Council, argues that the Supreme Court exceeded its authority in making this decision.

John Beyner, who is the speaker of the US House of Representatives, said the Supreme Court ignored the opinions of millions of Americans who opposed same-sex marriage.

Jeb Bush, who was previously the governor of Florida, argues that it would be right to transfer the consideration of this issue to each individual state.

Despite continuing criticism, the Supreme Court decision is valid throughout the country and cannot be challenged.
