22 August in the north-eastern states are expected heavy thunderstorms and rain.

A stream of dry air from Canada will encounter hot, humid airflow from the Mississippi and Ohio valleys, writes Accu Weather.

Thunderstorms and rains are expected in Paduki, Kentucky, as well as Pittsburgh and Syracuse, New York.

It is expected that the showers and winds will be strong enough and can bring down trees and power lines. Hail and tornado are also possible in these states.

The highest risk of a tornado will be in northern New York and in northern Pennsylvania.

On some streets there is a risk of flooding the roads, on some roads in New York and Kentucky traffic may be limited due to a dramatic decrease in visibility due to rains.

Towards evening 22 August, thunderstorms and winds will begin to develop into heavy rainstorms, which can lead to flooding north and west of New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington DC.

During the night and morning of August 23, heavy rains with thunderstorms and winds will continue; in the morning of Wednesday, thunderstorms and rains will begin to subside.
