David Maiocco told Virginia Lottery representatives that on September 3 he bought 25 identical tickets to participate in the Virginia Lottery Pick 4 lottery, writes UPI.

For each of the lottery tickets purchased, Mayocco chose the same combination of 0211 numbers.

According to the man, he was doing other things - hanging on the phone and waiting for a response from the customer service representative of his television provider - when he decided to check the numbers on the Internet.

Mayocco discovered that he won 25 major prizes, 5 of thousands of dollars each.

The total amount amounted to 125 thousand dollars.

“When they finally came back on the other end of the line, all I could say was, ‘OK,’” Maiocco admitted. “I just agreed to everything they said.” I hung up and went straight to the lottery office!”
