North Carolina Gets Jackpot of $ 200 Thousands on Path to Final Chemotherapy
A North Carolina man battling colon cancer won $200 in the lottery on the way to his final round of chemotherapy.
“I was already happy because it was my last round of chemotherapy,” says Ronnie Foster, who bought the winning Win It All lottery ticket. “Winning this tournament added to my happy day.”
Foster, a retired employee of the Department of Transportation, froze at a loss when he wiped off the protective cover from an instant lottery ticket, revealing a winning combination, writes New York Post.
“I saw all these zeros and froze in place,” admitted the winner.

“I didn’t believe it until I gave it to the clerk at the scanning counter. When the result said, “Head to lottery headquarters,” I began to tremble. I couldn’t believe it,” Foster says.
The man received his prize on Friday. After paying taxes, he went home with 141 501 dollar.
He said that part of his winnings would go to medical expenses.
“I have good insurance,” Foster said. “But some things still cost money.” Winning will make everything a lot easier.”
