New Jersey resident found lottery ticket for $ 24 million in old shirt
A resident of New Jersey claims that, after seeing the news on one of the TV channels, he decided to check his lottery ticket, which he found in an old shirt and won $ 24 million, writes NBC New York.
Jimmy smith out East Orange announced that 23 May, two days before the lottery ticket expired, he received his prize in New York.
The winner, a retired guard, said that he was buying lottery tickets in New York and New Jersey from 1960 of the year. However, it is not always a hurry to check whether he won something or not.
This time, he bought a ticket at a grocery store in the Tribeca area in Manhattan. He chose not a one-time payment, as they often do, but payments over 26 years.
