Brutal jealous man: new details of the murder of an immigrant from Russia in New York
A serviceman from Staten Island was arrested on charges of murder his Russian-speaking girlfriend, who served in the National Guard, and their two sons.
The arrest occurred after new details emerged about the violent past of the accused Shane Walker and the tragic history of his girlfriend from Russia.
Police have accused 36-year-old Walker of murder, manslaughter, arson and criminal possession of weapons for the murder of 1-grade US National Guard pilot Alla Ausheva, as well as sons of 2-year-old Ivan and 3-year-old Elia.
Police officers found the children were drowned in the bathroom, and Ausheva was lying face down on the bed with injuries to her face and head.
Sources report that Walker is a member of the Air Force, although the Department of Defense database shows that he served in the National Guard of the Army from October 26 2011 to March 9 March 2012 .
The man is extremely jealous, and also has a criminal history involving domestic violence, according to sources. In December, he was arrested for hitting Aushev after she returned from Dunkin 'Donuts, and accused her of infidelity.

“They had an argument and then he hit her,” a senior source said.
Sources said that Ausheva had a court order protecting Walker, and it was valid at the time of the murder.
According to the police, Walker was charged with several things: murder, negligent homicide, arson and possession of murder weapons.
The couple's house was full of smoke when the chief of Ausheva arrived, but the police in New York have not yet confirmed whether this smoke is related to arson charges against the man.
It is also unclear what weapon Walker used. Sources said that on Sunday he was undergoing a psychiatric examination at the Maimonides Medical Center, in order to assess his responsibility for further investigative actions and court proceedings.
Ausheva came to the United States in 2011 after her former husband won the lottery green card. At the moment, it is unclear when they parted.

She joined the United States Army National Guard the same year she arrived in America. In 2014, she was transferred to the Air National Guard, according to agency spokesman Colonel Richard Goldenberg.
“I moved from Russia a year ago—that’s when my first dream came true,” Ausheva told an audience in a 2012 YouTube video. “Then in the summer I joined the US Army - that’s when my second dream came true.”
In 2012, she received citizenship during the naturalization ceremony chaired by then-President Barack Obama.
According to the National Guard, Ausheva served full-time at the Fort Hamilton military base in Brooklyn.
