Conflict in the White House: Melania Trump demands that the deputy presidential deputy be dismissed

The first lady, according to sources, told the President about her dissatisfaction with Ricardel’s behavior, which in 2016 had helped Trump in her election campaign. Earlier this year, Trump's national security adviser, John Bolton, appointed Mira Ricardel as his deputy.
According to sources, Melania Trump directly asked the president to dismiss Ricardel. The interlocutors of the agency said that the conflict between the first lady and the White House employee broke out during an African tour of Melania Trump in October.
One source claims that during the trip, Trump and Ricardel "did not have a relationship." According to the Wall Street Journal, one of the conflicts arose because of the seats on the plane. Ricardel, the newspaper writes, attempted to restrict the first lady from using funds from the National Security Council during her trip to Africa.

Another source who is aware of how Ricardel has established himself in the White House, said that Bolton’s deputy managed to quarrel with the majority of the staff of the National Security Council. One of the interlocutors of the agency said that the conflict between Ricardel and Melania Trump began more than a month ago. Several attempts to “defuse the situation” have come to nothing.
A spokeswoman for the first lady, Stephanie Grish, confirmed the fact that Melania Trump had asked the president to fire Ricardel.
"She (Ricardel) no longer deserves the honor of serving in the White House, that is the official position of the First Lady's office," Grisham said.

Ricardel worked from 1986 to 2005 for a year in various positions in several federal departments and in the government of George W. Bush. From 2006 to 2015, she served as Boeing's vice president of defense and space systems and international business development.
