The restaurant was struck by the true purpose of ordering food by the customer.
Often during the illness we are all too lazy to cook, so we use ready-made food, but some go even longer and ask the courier to go to the pharmacy for medicines on the way.
So did a resident of Northern Ireland Fiona Cuffe, reports CNN.
After ordering food delivery to Feeleys Chippy, the woman made an unusual postscript in the field “Customer Comment”.
“Could you please stop at Spar (the name of a pharmacy chain) on your way and buy some Benylin flu medicine and I’ll give you the money. I order food just to get pills, I’m dying from this disease,” Kuffe wrote.
The employees of the institution were surprised, but nevertheless, they fulfilled the request of the woman, having photographed the check with her request, the purchased medicine and put the pictures on Facebook.
The photo quickly gathered over 13 thousands of likes and 3,3 thousands of reposts, the restaurant even received thanks from Father Fiona.
A spokesman for Feeleys Chippy said that they were happy to help the woman, and said that this was not the first time customers were using them for non-food delivery assignments. In addition, the network promised Fiona a free lunch when she recovered.
