A woman with two children accidentally fell into a police shootout with criminals

The 35-year-old woman from Miami-Dade, in which her 9-year-old son and 10-year-old cousin were, accidentally came under fire from the police.

This happened after a car crashed into her car, which was pursued by the police, writes CBS.

The woman admitted that everything she heard was “boom boom”; she constantly tried to cover the children in the car.

After the accident, the suspected criminals fired from the car at the police officers, and they began to shoot back. According to the police, not one of the officers or criminals was injured during the shootout.

After the shooting began, the woman tried to run out of the car with the children and take refuge in a safe place. According to her, during the accident and escape from the car, she and the children were injured.

“We all have bruises. My son had broken teeth and torn lips that required seven or eight stitches. My leg is injured. And my little cousin broke his left arm,” the woman said.

After the incident, the victims were sent to the hospital.

Two criminals were arrested, the third managed to escape, now the police are looking for him.
