A woman gave birth to a baby in an airplane toilet and threw it into the trash
A newborn baby was found in the garbage can of an Air Mauritius on January 1, reports CNN.

Air Mauritius, from Madagascar, touched down at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport on 1 January.
Airport officials found the baby during a routine customs check. They noticed bloody toilet paper near a dumpster in an aircraft washroom and removed the newborn baby from the trash can.
The child was immediately taken to a state hospital.

Suspicion fell on a 20-year-old woman from Madagascar.
The woman, suspected of being the mother of the child, initially denied that the boy was hers. But the medical examination she was forced to undergo confirmed that the woman had just given birth.
Airport police also interviewed passengers.
The woman was admitted to the hospital under police surveillance. Both she and the baby are reportedly doing well.
It turned out that the woman came from Madagascar to Mauritius with a two-year work permit. After she is discharged from the hospital, she will be interrogated and charged with leaving her newborn in danger.
