Putin's salary has doubled
Russian President Vladimir Putin earned 2014 7 654 rubles (042 thousand dollars) for 151,5 for the year, follows from the income declaration published on the Kremlin’s website: twice as many as in 2013.
Putin owns, according to the declaration, a land plot of 1500 square meters, an apartment of 77 square meters and a garage. In addition, he has in his use an apartment with a total area of 153,7 squares.
The president has three of his own cars - all made in Russia: GAZ M21, GAZ M-21-R and Niva.
The income of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev also almost doubled in 2014 year: he earned about 8,052 million rubles (159,4 thousands of dollars).
On Wednesday, the Kremlin’s website also published income statements for employees of the presidential administration. The most in 2014 was earned by Oleg Govorun, head of the department for socio-economic cooperation with the CIS countries, Abkhazia and South Ossetia. His income was more than 114 million rubles (2,3 million dollars). Together with his wife, he owns five plots of land, a house, an apartment and three cars.
In second place in terms of annual income is the first deputy head of the presidential administration, Vyacheslav Volodin. He earned almost 63 million rubles (1,3 million dollars).
