Two companies offer $ 1300 each for every viewer looking to watch 13 horror movies this Halloween season.

Satellite TV company will supply this event "Survival kit" consisting of a blanket, popcorn, candy and paraphernalia from the world of Stephen King. They'll also be given a Fitbit to track their heart rate during scary moments.

“Once you watch all 13 films and register your report, we will pay you $ 1300! Spend as you please. Just avoid certain hotels in Colorado! ”The company warns, referring to the ominous“ Shining ”.

In a separate deal, the FinanceBuzz website announced that it is hiring a horror heart rate analyst to watch a collection of high-budget and low-budget films.

The list includes classic footage from The Blair Witch Project found in 1999, as well as more recent ones such as The Paranormal Activity, A Quiet Place and Get Out.

This viewer also has Fitbit to record heart rate while watching movies. The website says the project wants to find out if there is a correlation between the budget of a horror movie and how "terrifying" it is.

“More often than not, horror films are frightening because of their story... rather than the budget of the production studio,” said FinanceBuzz. “Some of the most spectacular films and terrifying thrillers have been made for pennies compared to superhero sequels and well-established franchises.”

The financial bonus is certainly an incentive, but if you have not been selected for any of the contests, remember that you can always watch these films just for fun.
