'I remembered the truck and began to follow': a wild turkey chased the postman for several months
In Waukeshaw (Wisconsin), a wild turkey tirelessly chased a mail truck. Postman Jeff Byrne says this has been happening for several months, writes Patch.
A postman works in the Tacoma Hills area of Waukesho. It is very similar to many other suburban areas: small streets and roadside mailboxes, which are easily accessible from a mail truck.
There are no sidewalks, and pedestrians rarely appear - with the exception of one creature. For several months Byrna was chased by a wild turkey.
“She didn’t pay much attention to me in the first couple of months, but over the past month she remembered the truck pretty well and began to follow me,” he said.

A resident of the area, Sherry Michaels, once followed a Byrne mail truck, recording a video of a turkey spinning around and running after a truck.
When the mail truck stops, the turkey walks around the truck, tries to peer inside and inflates its feathers from time to time, as in an attack.
