A man has been arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada, for leaving a 3-month-old husky puppy in a car in sweltering heat. The dog is now receiving medical attention from the Animal Control Service. The edition told in more detail USA Today.

Around 15:00 p.m., security guards noticed a dog inside a car on July 20 “with its mouth sealed with tape.” According to the police, the puppy was taken out through the hatch of the car. According to Accuweather, the temperature in Las Vegas reached 113 degrees (45 Celsius) that day.
Las Vegas police arrested the owner of the car for "willfully, maliciously torturing an animal," a felony under the Nevada state code.

The footage shows a police officer approaching a gray SUV, where an unidentified person, apparently a witness, is giving the puppy water to drink.
“He had a lot of saliva,” the man says. “Like he couldn’t breathe.”
The owner of the car, later identified as 50-year-old Raul Carbajal, was soon arrested.

“Do you realize how hot it is outside? the Carbajal officer asks. “At this time, your car is turned off, the windows are closed, the dog’s mouth is sealed with tape.”
According to the authorities, the puppy was locked in the car for two hours while Carbajal was busy gambling.
