Detained provocateurs for the creation of the Kiev People's Republic

The SBU officers exposed the illegal activities of the group of provocateurs who, through social networks, actively called for the creation of the so-called “Kiev People's Republic”.

The group has created an online community with the same name, which promoted the criminal activities of militants in the occupied territories, distributed anti-Ukrainian materials and tried to persuade young people to support separatism, say the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

“The organizers developed and distributed symbols of the fake “republic”, demonstratively similar to those used by militants of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” and “Luhansk People’s Republic”,” the SBU noted.
