A young fan of Columbine’s shooting at school forced the schools in Colorado to close.

An armed teenager whose threats of reprisal forced him to shut down almost 20 school districts in Colorado was found dead. About it CNN said a law enforcement representative.

A senior Florida schoolgirl, 18-year-old Saul Pace was "passionate about" a massacre at Columbine when she went to Colorado this week - the same week as the 20-anniversary of the tragedy in high school, which killed 13 people.

"There is no longer a threat to the community," the FBI's Denver office tweeted Wednesday, using the hashtag "#FindSol."

Pace was a threat on a trip from Miami to Denver on Monday, April 15, said special agent Dean Phillips.

After arriving in Colorado, Pace went to the store and bought a shotgun with ammunition, according to the FBI.

Phillips added that Pace had become a threat to society and schools, but there was no information about a particular threat to a particular place.

No less than 19 school districts closed

Jefferson County Public Schools, which includes Columbine High School in Littleton, were among the nearly 20 school districts closed on Wednesday, April 14, when police were looking for Pace.

Other school districts that are closed during the day include the Douglas County School District, Aurora School, and Cherry Creek School.

In a letter to the parents, the Superintendent of the Boulder-Val School District, Rob Anderson, said that the decision to cancel classes was unanimous among school district leaders.

“We cannot risk a single student or staff member being injured, so we unanimously decided last night to close the school,” Anderson wrote to parents Wednesday morning.

Wanted teen last seen in camouflage

Pace was a student at Miami Beach high school, said Daisy Gonzalez-Diego, a spokeswoman for Miami-Dade public schools. She further refused to provide detailed information.

After arriving in Colorado and buying a shotgun with ammunition, the teenager went to the foothills in camouflage.

“Her comments and actions that we have heard about from others tend to make us very concerned that she may pose a threat to the school,” the FBI agent said.

Before Pace's death became known, her father said that he had lost contact with his daughter on Sunday, April 14.

“I think she has mental problems,” he said.

Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Schrader said the potential threat of violence this week adds even more pain to residents who are still grieving.
