Yatsenyuk announced his resignation from the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk decided on his resignation.
He stated this in his address, which was made public on April 10 the official website Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Yatsenyuk said that on April 12, the idea of his resignation would be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.
“The parliamentary faction of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc nominated Volodymyr Groysman (the current Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada) for the post of head of government. Having done everything for the stability and continuity of the course, I announce the decision to transfer the responsibilities of the head of the government of Ukraine,” Yatsenyuk said.
He added that he sees broader tasks than managing the government.
“From today on, I see my tasks as broader than the powers of the head of government,” he said.
According to Yatsenyuk, the political crisis in Ukraine was created artificially, because of “the desire of politicians to change one person who blinded them and paralyzed the will to real changes in the country.”
Recall, he headed the Ukrainian government since February 27 2014 of the year.
