"I do not agree with my father, and he knows that": Ivanka Trump told about the work
Ivanka Trump gave a great interview to an American television channel cbsnews.com and spoke about her work in the White House. The “first daughter” also stated that she does not publicly criticize her father, but admitted that she has disagreements with the president, writes dailymail.co.uk.
“I will take a balanced approach to those issues that are very important to me. I don't agree with my father and he knows it. I speak with complete frankness,” Ivanka said.
The president’s daughter admitted that, first of all, she and her father have different points of view when it comes to gay rights, immigration, and planned childbirth. According to Ivanka, she is not going to make a big career in politics.
“Politics is a tough business. Politics is not an easy matter. I hope that I can be of service to my father and be a positive influence in the White House. But I respect the fact that he always listens to me. This was the case when he was a businessman, and it remains the same now when he became president,” she said.
The daughter of the 45th President of the United States expressed hope that she will do “something good” and “make a positive impact.”
Ivanka Trump also responded to criticism of her husband Jared Kushner. She stated that her husband was the tool that helped Donald Trump win the presidential election. At the same time, none of them had any experience in politics.
The journalist asked the president’s daughter what exactly she would do in the White House.
“I think I will continue my advocacy work that I do in the private sector. I stand for economic empowerment and women's rights. And I’m also going to focus on the role of education,” Ivanka Trump responded.
Recall that last week it became known that Ivanka will officially become a civil servant. So the girl joined her husband, who is a senior adviser to Donald Trump. Ivanka Trump will take the post of special assistant to the president.
