WikiLeaks, an international organization that deals with leaks of classified information and its subsequent publication on its website, has published more 1000 letters from the private email server of Hillary Clinton concerning the war in Iraq.
The site on Monday posted a link to 1258 emails that Clinton sent during her tenure as secretary of state. According to the press release, the emails were received from the US State Department after the Freedom of Information Act was passed. However, it is unclear how any of this information is classified, according to The Independent.
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange had previously claimed that his site received enough evidence for the FBI to indict the Democratic candidate for president.
This information is likely to be on hand to Republican nominee Donald Trump. Clinton met with FBI investigators over the weekend. A source close to the FBI recently told CNN that the bureau would not make any charges against Clinton in the coming weeks.
