What is the cheapest supermarket in the USA
Unfortunately, groceries are expensive. Whether you're a college student living on instant noodles or trying to feed yourself, your spouse, and kids on $50 a week, knowing where to stock up on groceries and not spend your entire paycheck at the grocery store is essential, writes chowhound.

If you're looking for a place to save money, here's your answer: America's cheapest grocery store is Aldi.
The German chain has branches in 39 states, although they are mostly concentrated in the eastern part of the country. Aldi's low prices are due to its efficient work organization. For example, the store staff is usually small, and customers are expected to bag their own groceries. Before you go shopping at Aldi, be sure to stock up on bags (the ones in the store are not free) and quarters - you will need a coin to "borrow" the cart in which to put your purchases (you can get the coin back when you return the cart). Almost 90% of Aldi's assortment consists of in-house brands - this is another strategy to reduce costs. The chain is said to have excellent budget canned goods, cheeses, produce, and even affordable but very decent award-winning wines.
On the subject: Aldi or Walmart: where is it more profitable to buy groceries
If you live in the western United States, outside of parts of Southern California, you may have never heard of Aldi. But there are several inexpensive grocery stores that serve other parts of the country.
Trader Joe's is known for its budget-friendly and creative frozen foods and original house brands, as well as its famous 19-cent bananas. It's great for people who cook for themselves or for a small family, as many of the items are packaged in small quantities.

For bulk shopping, WinCo Foods or Costco are the way to go. WinCo is great for stocking up on pasta, rice, flour, etc. No membership is required to make purchases. However, the employee-owned chain doesn't allow customers to use credit cards, which helps keep prices low by avoiding the fees that would otherwise be incurred on these transactions. Meanwhile, Costco offsets the cost by requiring an annual membership fee. But it does offer the best prices on baked goods, as well as household items like diapers and paper plates. And it has a cheap food court.
