Walmart recalls infant formula due to 'foreign metal'
Infant formula, which is sold only at Walmart, is withdrawn due to the threat of the presence of "foreign metal," the company said Perrigo.
The recall affects one lot of 23 containers (weighing 388 grams) of Parent's Choice Advantage infant formula.
According to the company, to date, no adverse events related to the use of the product have been reported. The review is voluntary and is conducted as a precautionary measure after consulting with the United States Food and Drug Administration.
Customers who purchased a product whose C26EVFV number is listed at the bottom of the package with the date of use before February 26 2021 should stop using the mixture and contact Walmart for a refund.
