The police came to Kiev presidential candidate Vladimir Zelensky at his election headquarters at the Parkovy Convention Center in Kiev. Reported by a correspondent RBC from headquarters.

The reason for the visit of law enforcement officers was Zelensky’s demonstration of his filled-in ballot at a polling station. The police believe that in this way the presidential candidate violated the rules for campaigning, Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to the Minister of the Interior, said in his Facebook.

According to the Code of Administrative Violations of Ukraine, a fine from 30 to 50 of non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens for individuals and from 50 to 80 for officials is threatened.

Earlier at the briefing, advisor to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Zoryan Shkiryak said that the department had learned about Zelensky’s demonstration of his bulletin from the media, reports RBC Ukraine.

“Of course, all these facts will be verified and a proper legal and legal assessment will be provided,” he said.

In turn, the head of the National Police of Kiev, Andrei Kryshchenko, noted that in the first round of elections, after such violations, several administrative protocols were drawn up against candidates. In addition, then the protocol for the campaign on election day was made to the deputy of the Radical Party Igor Mosiychuk.

Zelensky voted at a polling station on Geroyev Stalingrad Avenue, the actor was accompanied by his wife Elena. After he lowered the ballot, Zelensky said in a conversation with journalists that regardless of the election results, "there will be a victory for the Ukrainian people."
