US presidential election: Trump and Biden ratings have changed dramatically
A new Reuters poll shows that former vice president Joe Biden has widened the rating gap over President Donald Trump to 13 points, writes The Hill.
In the survey, 48% of respondents said they would vote for Biden, the alleged Democratic presidential candidate, and 35% said they would support Trump.
In recent months, the US president has often been criticized for reacting to the coronavirus pandemic and nationwide protests caused by the murder of George Floyd by the police.
55% of respondents said they did not approve of Trump's response to the pandemic, which killed more than 115 Americans, and only 000% approved his reaction to the crisis.
About two-thirds of respondents sympathized with the protests, which lasted more than three weeks. Trump took a frankly aggressive stance against the protests, some of which grew into looting and led to material damage, and repeatedly threatened to use military force to suppress the riots.

According to a new poll, Trump's support among Republicans has fallen 13 points since March.
38% of respondents have a presidential approval rating that has fallen since November, when the impeachment process was underway in Congress.
Trump is ahead of Biden in polls about who will best influence the economy. 43% believe that Trump, and 38% speak for Biden.
The survey, conducted on June 10-16, involved 4426 registered voters and has an error of 2 percentage points.
