A rabbi was attacked near a school in Boston: he saved children, having received 8 knife wounds

On Thursday, July 1, 2021, in Brighton, the largest Jewish community in Boston, Massachusetts, an Arab armed criminal attacked Rabbi Shlomo Noginsky. Father of 12 children, received more than 8 stab wounds.

The attacker was identified as Khaled Amad. The attack took place near the Jewish school and the Shaloh House synagogue.

“When threatened, he instinctively and heroically led the terrorist away from the school where hundreds of Jewish children were enjoying a summer day camp,” the victim’s brother wrote in Facebook.

The man ran across the street to distance the attacker from the children, thereby taking the hit on himself.

Despite being discharged from the hospital, he is in severe pain and his arm is unable to move. It cannot work.

“He has 12 children who are counting on him to survive, the youngest is only 1 year old. He has medical and personal bills that he will now have a hard time paying since he is seriously injured and unable to work due to the vile terrorist attack,” the GoFundMe page reads. “We need your support to help him get through this critical time, including any physical help he may need, physical therapy and upcoming surgeries.” He may also have to hire someone to take his children to school for him and help around the house. Our brave rabbi should not be alone in this difficult hour.”
