US military analyst told how humanity will die

American military analyst Daniel Ellsberg, in his new work “The Doomsday Machine: Confession of a Nuclear Strategist,” spoke about the possible causes of World War III and its consequences. They write about it RIA News, With reference to the book review, published in San Francisco Chronicle.

In this case, Ellsberg emphasizes that the leading military powers have a much more crushing potential than is necessary. According to him, in a few days a full-scale nuclear conflict will destroy millions of people and lead to the death of humanity.

At the end of the book, Ellsberg makes several recommendations for preventing global conflict: the United States should not start a war and be the first to use nuclear weapons, and it should also abolish the land-based component of the “nuclear triad.” Ellsberg is not sure that this will happen, but there is a need to lobby for this initiative. “Nuclear weapons are no joke,” the expert sums up. “And this doesn’t just apply to the ‘crazy’ leaders of third world countries.”

American military analyst Daniel Ellsberg was born in 1931. In 1959, he began working at the RAND research center, where he worked on US nuclear strategy. Ellsberg worked on a secret report on US-Vietnamese relations known as the Pentagon Papers. Being critical of the actions of the Americans in Vietnam, in 1971 he gave the report to the newspaper The New York Times. He faced 115 years of imprisonment, but in the end Ellsberg was acquitted. The expert supports the activities of Julian Assange and the site WikiLeaks.
