Uber driver saved a passenger who wanted to commit suicide
Florida driver Uber Chad Farley saved the life of a passenger who was about to commit suicide and jump off the bridge Sunshine skyway.
As Farley told, he took the 28-year-old passenger from his house and drew attention to the strange address where the route was supposed to end - the middle of the bridge Sunshine skyway. Farley suggested that the man was insane, and managed to call the 911 staff, who helped the passenger on time.
As Farley told, during the trip, the passenger reported that he has brain cancer, and doctors say that he has only 30% chances of recovery. Therefore, he goes to the bridge to call an ambulance from there, which will take him to the city of Tampa for further treatment. Farley found such an unbelievable reason, and so he turned to 911.
During the trip, the driver tried to support the man, he said that his mother also had cancer, they talked about God and the value of life.
According to Farley, he drove the man to the pier. He was sitting on a bench when he saw the approaching patrolmen. The police tried to talk to the man, but he jumped into the water. The police saved the man and sent him to the hospital.
