In Florida, passengers attacked airline employees due to flight delays
Three airline employees were injured in an attack on three women that was videotaped Tuesday, July 14, in the evening at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Florida. Writes about it Local10.
According to Spirit Airlines, three employees were slightly injured when three passengers “started a fight after a flight delay.”
According to reports of the arrest, three women threw and beat the airline’s employees with “various items, such as telephones, shoes, full water bottles, metal plates and fast food.”
This happened before flying to Philadelphia at Terminal 4. The attack is recorded in the video.
“The victims were repeatedly kicked in various parts of their bodies,” arrest documents state.
All three women arrested from Philadelphia:
Tima Wright, 20, was arrested on charges of assault and petty theft for allegedly picking up a Spirit employee’s phone.
22-year-old Danaisha Dixon was arrested on charges of assault.
21-year-old Keira Ferguson is arrested on charges of assault.

They were taken to Broward County Prison, where they were released on Wednesday morning, July 15th.
The women refused to share their side of the story with reporters, but said they were trying to return home to Philadelphia.
Spirit Airlines made a statement: “We thank our team members for their professionalism and quick action, and also thank the Sheriff Broward’s office for the assistance provided yesterday at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Three guests started a fight after a flight delay, and they were arrested. Three of our team members were slightly injured. This violent behavior is absolutely unacceptable and absolutely unacceptable at airports or other places. We will not tolerate abusive behavior of any kind. Further questions about this incident will be directed to law enforcement. ”
Sheriff Broward’s office says their investigation is ongoing and women may face additional charges.
