In Florida, a Kazakhstani fought off armed robbers and took a gun from them: the story amazed even the police
A Kazakhstani living in the USA fought back the robbers right on the street in Miami. Moreover, the attackers who attacked Olzhas Kanybek were armed.
“Don't show this video to my mom. Today a local gang with weapons wanted to rob me, but my reaction surprised them,” says Olzhas in his Instagram. Judging by the frames of the video, Olzhas Kanybek not only beat the attackers, but also took away their pistols and phones.
Olzhas was returning home when he found bandits who robbed his house. At first, he managed to grab one of them.
Further events developed as in an action-packed Hollywood action movie. In the video, Olzhas is holding the bandit with one hand, while the other is filming the whole process on the phone. He interrogates the gang member, asking for his name, address, and where the loot is. Olzhas takes away his phones from the attacker and asks where his documents are. A passer-by calls the police, but at that moment 2 more armed intruders run up to help their friend. Olzhas in a fight takes away their weapons, and all the bandits flee.
The police arrived 2 minutes later. The officers were surprised to learn that Olzhas took 2 pistols from the gang. Medical experts took away all the clothes from the Kazakhstani for examination and removed the beatings after the fight.

Olzhas explained to the doctors who arrived with genuine calmness that he used to go in for boxing.
“Yes, they hit me with a weapon. I won’t go to the hospital, everything is fine. I used to box,” he says.
In a video where Kanybek, with injuries on his face, assures that everything is fine with him, Dimash Niyazov, a Kazakhstani boxer-cop from New York, reacted. He wrote a comment with emojis and a thumbs up: “Boxing. I'm normal" .

According to one of the police officers, “no one has ever seen anything like this in the United States.”
Olzhas stressed that he was fine - he managed to escape with abrasions. She’s only worried that her mother won’t see videos of the showdown.
The guy explains the use of profanity by “the adrenaline that jumped up in the blood.”
