In Florida, the grandmother accidentally knocked down her granddaughter when she was driving away from home: the child died
In Florida, a 70-year-old woman ran over her 7-year-old granddaughter while driving the family to their home in Leesburg. Writes about it WFLA.
She pulled into the driveway while dropping off her relatives.
After everyone got out of the car, the woman drove out and hit the girl. She told police that she did not know the child was behind the car.

A public relations officer for the Florida Police stated: “This is a tragic accident. The driver is cooperating with investigators. Unfortunately, we have seen such accidents before. This is a reminder to make sure all children are safe before moving the vehicle."
