The granddaughter of an American billionaire was kidnapped while jogging

Caregiver Eliza Fletcher, heiress to the Orgill hardware company fortune, was abducted while jogging in Memphis, Tennessee at 4:30 a.m. Sept. 2 and has not been seen since, reports DailyStar.

A 34-year-old woman was kidnapped on the street, and the shocking incident was captured on a CCTV camera.

Cleote Abston was detained by the police. He is charged with aggravated kidnapping and tampering with evidence after the disappearance.

Police have identified a 38-year-old man as the owner of a black SUV from surveillance cameras that they claim was carrying a kidnapped young woman.

A second person was arrested this weekend, but police said the unidentified suspect "is not currently believed to be involved" in the woman's disappearance.

Near the scene, a kindergarten teacher's phone and water bottle were found thrown on the floor and broken.

“The investigation into the abduction of Eliza Fletcher is still active and ongoing. Investigators are continuing their search and following all leads, the police statement said. “A vehicle of interest was located and the male occupant was detained. Eliza Fletcher has not been located."

The police interviewed the residents of the area where the abduction took place and asked them to review the footage from their video surveillance systems from 4:30 to 6:30 and send to the police everything of value that they can see there.

Eliza Fletcher was reported missing hours after she had not returned home. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene at approximately 7:45 am.

Her father, Beasley, mother, Adele and brother Gill showed up there with her husband to get some information.

They offered a $50 reward for information leading to the arrest of anyone responsible for her disappearance.
