Vladimir Zelensky travels to the USA: the official date is named
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky will go on his first official visit to the United States on September 23. There, the guarantor will take part in the UN General Assembly.

This was announced by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadim Priestayko at a joint press conference with Moldovan Foreign Minister Nika Popescu in Kiev, writes 24tv.
“We are going to the USA on September 23,” Prystaiko said.
In particular, in New York, Zelensky will take part in the general debate within the framework of the UN General Assembly, which will begin on September 24.

The 17 of September 2019 of the year in New York will begin the regular 74 session of the UN General Assembly, the general debate will open on September 24 in the framework of the General Assembly. Zelensky received an invitation to speak at them.

Pristayko also recalled that Zelensky has an official invitation to meet with US President Donald Trump. However, diplomats of both countries still continue to work on schedules of leaders to determine a specific date for their meeting. The Foreign Minister promised that this date of Zelensky’s visit to Washington will be announced shortly.

The main topic of the meeting between the Ukrainian president and the American leadership will be security issues.
At the end of July, Trump and Zelensky talked on the phone — touched on various topics and discussed cooperation between states.
