'Delicious and that's it' tries to go international and take customers away from McDonald's

The chain of fast food restaurants “Tasty - period” is going to open an establishment in the Chinese city of Heihe. But to do this, the company needs to obtain permission from McDonald's, reports Forbes.

Heihe is located on the banks of the Amur River opposite Blagoveshchensk, the administrative center of the Amur Region. The Russian chain has asked McDonald's for permission - under the agreement to purchase restaurants in Russia, it cannot open them in countries where the US company already operates.

The owner of the Russian chain of fast food restaurants “Vkusno - period”, Alexander Govor, said that the company received a request from Heihe, China. "Delicious - period" asked McDonald's for permission to open a restaurant in China.

The Russian chain, under the terms of the agreement to purchase restaurants in Russia, does not have the right to open establishments in those countries where McDonald's operates. According to Govor, the request came from Heihe: “logistics do not reach these regions, the Chinese do not have McDonald's there.”

“We wrote a letter to America, to the corporation. If they allow it, we will do it with pleasure, even if we open ten points tomorrow. Just like in Belarus, which is close to me by blood, or in Abkhazia,” Govor said. He added that the company was approached from a number of other countries about the possibility of opening “Tasty - period” restaurants.

At the end of last year, Govor said that the Vkusno-period chain was in contact with the American company McDonald's after its withdrawal from Russia. According to him, this is necessary to fulfill the terms of the deal.
