An 15-year-old boy was shot dead in a residential building in Brooklyn

Around 18: 00 on Friday, February 22, police answered the call at: 1395 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers saw a teenage boy with gunshot wounds to the head and chest, writes Pix11.

The victim was identified as 15-year-old Samuel Joseph. Police confirmed that the shooting took place inside the building where the teenager lived.

When the reporter arrived at the scene, he found a shocked mother near the entrance to the building and talked with the brother of the deceased.

“He was a normal kid... He did what kids do. She didn't know who did it. The police were there, they were going to take over the case,” said the victim’s brother, Don Joseph.

Samuel was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was declared dead.

At the time the teenager was shot, the offices in the neighborhood were full of clients. Asked how many shots he heard, local businessman Fabian Mora said: “I'm not sure. I think there were two or three. I was shaking because this was the first time something like this had happened.”

No one has been arrested yet. In the nearest offices there are several surveillance cameras installed, which the police are currently studying. The investigation continues.
