Roller coaster in Wisconsin broke down: people hung upside down on them for three hours
Eight people are stuck on an upside-down roller coaster during a carnival at the Wisconsin Festival on July 2, reports New York Post.
The ride stopped at the Forest County Festival in Crandon, about 370 miles north of Milwaukee.
People were stuck on the Fire Ball ride for three hours while first responders worked to get them off safely.
“All we know is there was a mechanical problem with the ride that caused it to stop in an upright position,” said Capt. Brennan Cook of the Crandon Fire Department. “The attraction was recently inspected by the State of Wisconsin here on site and we have no other information at this time.”
