Shooting occurred at the University of Texas: 2 women were killed, a child was injured
Two women died and one 10-year-old child was injured in a shooting that took place in a dormitory of Texas A&M University-Commerce, writes ABC News.
According to authorities, the shooting occurred in the housing for freshmen on Monday, February 3. Details of the incident have not yet been announced.
A child of 10 years old was taken to hospital in stable condition, according to the police department.
The incident was reported at 10:17 local time at the Pride Rock hostel for first-year students, the university’s website said.
