In Ukraine, may ban the “Irony of Fate”

The National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine has published a list of persons whose films and programs “which pose a threat to the national security of the country”.

Figurant of this list, according to the information on the site office, is the Russian actress Valentina Talyzina, who played the main character's girlfriend in the favorite New Year film of all Ukrainians and Russians “The Irony of Fate” and signed a letter in support of Russia's actions in the Crimea.

In this regard, the film was under the threat of a ban in Ukraine on the eve of the New Year.

The final decision on the revocation of the license and the prohibition of the film for rent, on the basis of the appeal of the National Council, should be taken by the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema.

As the “Forum” wrote, Ukraine has already banned 162 Russian film and series.
