In Texas, an illegal is suspected of hundreds of murders of elderly women

An 46-year-old illegal immigrant from Kenya is accused of killing at least twelve elderly women in the state of Texas.

Billy Chemirmir is in prison on charges of murdering women between the ages of 76 and 94, writes Oan. His bail is more than $9 million. The man has been behind bars since March 2018, where he ended up after the alleged murder of an 81-year-old woman for profit. This happened in Dallas.

Chemirmir was detained when another 91-year-old victim of assassination and robbery appealed to the police and said that the man had strangled her and had stolen the jewels. The policemen recorded the number of his car and traced the man to the house where he lived. While in his apartment, they witnessed how he threw away the jewelry box, and they also found a note in the room with the address of one of those killed.

As the Independent, another woman, a 93-year-old resident of an assisted living facility from Frisco, reported a similar incident to the police. She described how a well-dressed man knocked on her door, claiming to be a maintenance worker. When she responded that no work was needed on the premises, he rushed inside and knocked her off her walker.

Recently, the perpetrator was charged with six cases of killing older women from 2016 to 2018: 91-year-old Phyllis Payne, 94-year-old Phoebe Perry, 85-year-old Norma French, 92-year-old Doris Gleason, 96-year-old Rosemary Qu Curts and H. Mary Brooks. He was also charged with other murders, the victims of which have not yet been named.

Police said the suspect posed as a health care worker so victims allowed him into their homes without fear. Authorities are now investigating more than 700 deaths of elderly people for the possible involvement of Billy Chemirmir - including cases that were initially considered deaths from natural causes.
