In Texas, a bison attacked a park visitor: she lay in the bushes for almost an hour, waiting for help
A Texas woman shared a video of herself being butted by a bison in Caprock Canyons Park. The edition told in more detail The dallas morning news.
Rebecca Clark was walking alone in the park when she met some bison. Animals crossed the path she was walking on and began to graze nearby.
Clarke began to record a video and quietly told the animals to "go ahead."
“I don’t want to deal with them,” she says at the start of the 29-second video that has gone viral on TikTok. “I just want to get through.”

After a few seconds, one of the buffalo turns around, growls, and lunges at Rebecca. She screams as the bull pushes her into the mesquite bush. This video ends.

Clarke said in the video's caption that she was too close to the animals, but posted the video "to remind you to be safe when you're enjoying Texas state parks."
In the second video, Clarke said she lay in the bushes for 50 minutes before help arrived. She was able to alert her friends and family with messages saying "I can still feel my legs" and that "this is a hell of a time".

Caprock Canyons is home to the Texas State Bison Herd, descendants of a herd raised at the JA Ranch in the late 1800s in an attempt to save the dwindling bison population.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department warns that bison love their territory, and experts recommend staying at least 50 yards (45 m) away from the animals whenever possible.
“Agitated or alarmed bison will lift their tails. Other signs of excitement or disapproval are gouging the earth with a hoof and lowering the head, the department said. - In bison culture, a direct gaze can signal threat or just plain rude behavior, especially towards dominant males. If you notice any of these activities, leave this place."
