In Tajikistan, sentenced to terrorists who killed the Americans at the cycling race
The main suspect in the murder of four foreign cyclists on a mountain road in Tajikistan in July 2018 was found guilty of “extreme violence killing” and other crimes and sentenced to life imprisonment.

A juror in a trial of 15 suspects reported that Hussein Abdusamadov was found guilty in nine criminal cases, the sentence was passed on 21 in November. The charges against him also included terrorism, religious extremism and the recruitment of persons into an illegal militant organization.
Two of the accused, Karomatullo Ganiyev and Bekhruz Safoev, were found guilty of membership in a criminal group and an extremist organization and sentenced to 16 years in prison. Other 12 defendants were found guilty of concealing a crime and sentenced to prison terms ranging from 12 to 18 months.
The court ruled that Bahrinizo Haydarova, the only woman among the defendants, will serve her sentence later, because she has a small child.
Let us remind you that the cyclists - two Americans, a Dutchman and a Swiss - were killed July 29 during an extremist attack on a group of tourists on a mountain road in Tajikistan. The terrorists hit them with a car. Two more cyclists who were attacked survived.
