In the United States developed an electric car that does not need recharging
Aptera engineers said they were able to create an electric vehicle powered by solar energy. A super green car doesn't have to consume electricity to recharge, writes "Focus"... The creators of the car claim that the most complete car is capable of driving 1600 km on a single charge.
The base model received a 25 kWh battery, which allows it to travel 400 km on a single charge. However, the battery does not recharge while driving. But there is also a plus - solar panels located on the roof can recharge the battery for 70 km during the day. Engine power is 134 hp. sec., thanks to which the car accelerates to 100 km / h in just 5,5 seconds.
Aptera plans to put on stream cars with batteries with a capacity of 40 kWh (power reserve 640 km) and 60 kWh (cruising range 960 km), as well as 100 kWh (power reserve up to 1600 km). The machine in the maximum configuration will have a 201 hp engine. from. with four-wheel drive.
On the subject: Electric or gasoline: which car is cheaper to maintain
“With Aptera Never Charge technology, you no longer have to worry about recharging your car—just go wherever and whenever you want,” said Aptera co-founder Chris Anthony.
The electric car is made of composite materials, which makes it very lightweight. Depending on the configuration, the weight of the car will vary from 816 to 998 kg. The cabin can accommodate a driver, passenger and a medium-sized pet.
There are several other interesting features: the car has three wheels and a super-streamlined shape with an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0,13 (the Tesla Model 3, for example, has a coefficient of 0,23). A basic electric car will cost $ 25, and a fully equipped one - $ 900. Deliveries are expected in 46, and pre-orders can be made today.

Recall that for the first time a three-wheeled concept was presented by Aptera in 2011. But this project was a failure. Having managed to find investors and received a loan of $ 150 million, Aptera managed to realize its long-standing idea.
