In the USA, there were 3 mass executions per day: one person was killed, 28 injured

At least 28 people received gunshot wounds in three separate incidents that occurred in three states last Sunday, reports CNN.

As of Monday morning, law enforcement authorities did not arrest or identify suspects in all three incidents. Investigators asked witnesses and those who have information or videos to contact the authorities.

13 people were injured in Chicago at a wake

In Chicago, 13 people received gunshot wounds while attending a memorial event commemorating a shooting victim who died earlier this year. Police reported that the shooting occurred on Sunday afternoon, after an altercation began at the wake.

“Shots were fired inside the house and everyone started running,” Waller said.

Victims between the ages of 16 and 48 received various injuries and were taken to district hospitals. As of Sunday, 4 injured were in critical condition, according to the Chicago Police Incident Alert website.

Information about the suspects is not available, but police say they interrogated two people.

According to a press release from the Chicago Police Department, police also arrested a man who escaped from a shooting area who was accused of using weapons illegally. Police could not confirm that his arrest was related to the shooting. He is due to stand trial on Monday.

On Sunday afternoon, Chicago Mayor Laurie Lightfoot made a statement in connection with the incident.

“This type of violence is simply unacceptable in our city,” Lightfoot told reporters after visiting shooting victims and their families.

She called on everyone who has information to declare this, adding that "in this room they know exactly who shot."

7 people injured in a nightclub in Baltimore

“Within hours of the Chicago shooting, 7 people were injured while waiting in line to get into a downtown Baltimore club lounge. Four suspects are being sought in connection with this incident, said Officer Rich Worley.

Worley said the two gunmen got out of the car near the lounge club at about 2 a.m. on Sunday and started firing at those who were waiting in line.

One man had a pistol, the other a rifle. A total of 19 shots were fired. The victims, ranging in age from 17 to 27 years old, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

According to Worley, the car in which the suspects arrived was discovered, but it was set on fire.

19-year-old guy dies as a result of shooting in Minnesota

Police said one person was killed and 7 others were injured in a shooting in Minnesota, which occurred within a few hours after two other executions.

Shortly after midnight on Sunday, police responded to firing in the parking lot of the Dala Thai restaurant and banquet hall in Spring Lake Park, about 12 miles north of Minneapolis.

Several departments arrived on call and found victims aged 19 to 38 with gunshot wounds. 19-year-old Chai Yang was killed during the shooting, 7 other victims of the shooting received life-threatening injuries, according to a press release from the Anok County Sheriff’s office.

Authorities are asking all witnesses to the shooting, who may have a video of the incident, to contact investigators.
