A visitor to an exhibition in Los Angeles, while trying to take a selfie, broke expensive exhibits worth about $200. A spokesman for the art gallery said that some of them were “irreparably damaged,” while the rest of the fallen exhibits were in “various degrees of damage.”

The incident occurred at the exposition of British artist Simon Birch, who lives in Hong Kong. His works are exhibited in museums in London, Los Angeles, Miami, Hong Kong, Beijing, Singapore and Tokyo.

Site LiveLeak published a video from surveillance cameras in the exhibition hall. It shows how the girl shaken when she tried to take a picture, lost her balance, and touched one stand, after which the whole row fell on the principle of dominoes.
