In the US, 50 million people will be in the zone of Arctic frosts

50 Millions of people in 24 in the US will fall into a zone of severe Arctic cold over the next few days, meteorologist Karen Maginnis told CNN.

Up to 50 degrees below zero, a temperature bar in northern Wisconsin and in Minnesota may fall on Monday evening. From -32 to -45 degrees is expected in some provinces in North Dakota. “This arctic cold is potentially deadly and dangerous,” Maginnis said. “The second wave of cold air will only increase the frost on Tuesday.”

“Overall, about 70 percent of the United States will experience very cold temperatures over the next couple of days,” echoed meteorologist Pedram Javaheri.

"The Arctic cyclone, which has already entered the north-central United States, will move into the southeast, bringing cold weather to a wide area from the Mississippi Valley to the East Coast," the National Weather Bureau said.
